Pilot survey to define the social stories scenarios of PASS4Autism

The PASS4Autism partners, Autismo Burgos in Spain, Child and Adolescent Centre in Greece, and SCS Controvento in Italy conducted a pilot study with parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) to define the social story scenarios that will serve as the foundation for the visual story AI tool of the project.

The pilot study was successfully conducted in February and March 2024, with over 50 parents participating in the survey through focus groups and online questionnaires. Throughout the process, the involved therapists in each country, effectively informed parents about the PASS4Autism project and its scope.

The data available is more than sufficient to define social story scenarios that cover a wide range of social situations that children and young people between the ages of 2 and 17, with varying levels of functionality and needs, may encounter on a daily basis.
