The Pass4Autism project and its innovative AI-powered online platform for creating visual stories to enhance children’s social skills were successfully presented by the University of Peloponnese (UOP) at the Innovent Forum 2025, held in Larissa, Greece, on February 14-15.
As one of the key science and technology events focusing on innovation and new technologies, Innovent Forum provided an excellent opportunity to showcase Pass4Autism. Over 40 visitors stopped by UOP’s booth, where ESDA LAB researchers introduced them to the platform and its story-making tool. Despite being in demo mode, the tool already offers a variety of visual stories tailored for multiple social situations, helping children with ASD develop essential social skills.
Taking advantage of the event’s role as a hub for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and innovation promotion, UOP partners demonstrated the platform, which will soon be accessible through the project’s website. The presentation received highly positive feedback from parents and therapists regarding its benefits for children with ASD. Additionally, the project was promoted through informative leaflets, sparking fruitful discussions with social actors about adopting the tool for broader use by relevant stakeholders.
